Stewed Chicken Gizzards

In Portuguese: Moelas de Frango Estufadas
Cooking Time: 1 hour
Serves: 4


1 kg of chicken gizzards
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
5 tablespoon of olive oil
4 tablespoon of tomato paste
5 cl of white wine
2 bay leaves
1 chilli
Salt as per taste


Wash and cut the chicken gizzards into small pieces;
Chop the onion and the garlic;
Put the gizzards in a pan and add all other ingredients;
Let cook in low heat for 1 hour.

Accompany with mashed potatoes.
